I get asked this question continually and it is one of the most important. This is the final act of kindness and Love that you get to show to your beloved friend, and it should never be taken lightly.
First of all, you should be able to visit the shop where your pet cremation will be taking place. Is it neat? Clean and comfortable?
Is the person whom you were comfortable with on the phone, the one whom is actually running the shop and is going to be the one handling your beloved pet from start to finish? Do they show compassion for you, your situation and your pet? Are they passionate about their job and the service that they are providing?
The cremation equipment must have individual chambers so that your pet is actually separated from others during the cremation process.
You need to be satisfied within yourself that the place that you trust to carry out this final act of love will not only give you your pets ashes back. But will also treat them with dignity, respect and love throughout the entire process.
We started Peaceful Paws Pet Memorial Center for this very reason. We are Compassionate about pets and those who love their pets. I strive to make every client confident that they had the best service possible for their beloved friend. My greatest reward is when all is said and done, that I helped someone through this difficult time.
